Woven ribbon

Hữu Tín ribbon is woven from polyester and nylon yarn, dyed to each customer's own colour reference. An evenly lustrous satin face, with heat-cut edges that do not fray after repeated tying.

About

Ribbon demands the tightest colour consistency of anything Hữu Tín makes: half a tone of drift between two batches is enough to stop an apparel customer’s line. Yarn is dyed to the colour code the customer sends and checked on a spectrophotometer before it reaches the loom. Every batch keeps a head and tail sample for matching against repeat orders. An approved colour reference therefore carries over to later orders without a fresh sampling round.

Edges are cut with a heated blade so the weave cannot fray after repeated tying. Widths run from 6mm to 100mm, on standard 100-yard reels or cut to the length you specify. Weaves available are single-face satin, double-face satin and grosgrain, chosen for the surface the finished product needs. The standard material is 100% polyester, with nylon woven on request.
