Woven webbing

Hữu Tín webbing is woven wide and dense, for the places where a strap giving way means the whole product has failed.

Webbing is the only range where Hữu Tín publishes a breaking load for each width, because backpack and luggage customers have to prove that figure to their own brands. Polyester yarn gives high tensile strength and little stretch under load. Nylon is softer in the hand and stands up better to constant abrasion, as on a shoulder strap. Choosing between the two is therefore a question of where the strap sits, not of price.

Widths from 15mm to 50mm are woven regularly. Wider widths or a bespoke weave need a loom set-up and add roughly two weeks to lead time. The two weaves in production are high-density plain and grosgrain, both giving a flat, low-pile face. Black and grey are stocked; anything else is dyed to your colour code.
