Elastic cord
Hữu Tín elastic is woven over a polyester-wrapped spandex core, holding its recovery force through repeated wash and stretch cycles.
About
Elastic losing its pull is the fault customers find last: the product passes at the end of the line and only goes slack three months later. Hữu Tín tests recovery on washed samples, not only on freshly woven ones. Standard stretch is 130% to 180% of the original length, chosen by where it is sewn. Waistbands need strong recovery; cuffs need to stay soft so they do not mark the skin.
Knitted elastic is softer in the hand than woven elastic of the same width, but woven elastic holds its shape better above 40mm. The weave is therefore best settled together with the width rather than separately. Widths run from 5mm to 60mm, on a spandex core covered in polyester. White and black are stocked; anything else is dyed to your colour code.
